This armour is a mark of station for the Forgefathers, a religious order dedicated to Vashaul and based in Thorborimm. They are widely respected as councilors, mediators and defenders of dwarvenkind. Despite its ceremonial nature, it is also highly functional, typical of dwarven practicality.
